I am honored and humbled to be chosen by the Democrats of Collin County to be their next County Chair. I thank all who voted for me. And I particularly thank everyone who helped with the campaign – whether it was taking responsibility for a major project or making a big donation, or simply talking to a friend or liking my Facebook page. This was a team effort.
Please join me in thanking Chairman Shawn Stevens for his service. He is to be commended for taking on the responsibility of being County Chair. Mr. Stevens has a lot to offer the Party, county, and state and I look forward to working with him in his next endeavors.
Collin County Democrats spoke loudly last night that they want to build a Party that can win. I invite everyone who shares that goal to join me and make it happen. No idea is too crazy to consider, no contribution too small, and no amount of volunteer time too little. Everyone can do something. Let’s get started.
